I don’t know about you guys but desserts for Halloween, to me are the best desserts out there. Not only because they are usually AMAZING and decadent but also, they’re usually so creative and FUN to make and Look at. Not to mention, my favorite thing to do, eat…. I try to find the Easiest Recipes with not a ton of ingredients for all of my posts.

The recipes that look like they have a lot of ingredients usually have a lot of spices, that’s it. I usually don’t count spices in my ingredients list. This being desserts, the only spices really you will have are those associated with Fall and the basics, like salt.

I don’t consider Baking powder and Baking soda spices. I’ve heard some people refer to baking powder as a spice. But I don’t lol, Here’s why.. Baking powder doesn’t have a taste per say, it isn’t used to flavor a dish, it is used to make a dish a different texture/increase the volume/ or even lighten a recipe.

Anyways enough about that, I wanted to do just 5 recipes to match my other posts: 5 Halloween Breakfasts, 5 Halloween Lunches, and 5 Halloween Dinners. If you haven’t read those posts, please click the links and hop over to check them out, thanks! I hope you will like this list of 5 delicate desserts for Halloween.

I know that seems like a lot of steps but it’s really simple to do and you have to plan this one out because of all the rising. I usually don’t like recipes that require a lot of rising time but I had to make an exception for this one because, well, it’s just so COOL. 1. Halloween recipes are all creative, Felicia! And colorful and spooky, of course. The gut dessert recipe … um… I think I’ll totally pass on that. The spider cookies/crispies look so cute! Anything involving the kids must be fun! It also means more cleaning up sometimes, but Halloween is only once a year! Do you take your kids trick or treating?

  2. Now this is what I’ve been waiting for!! I love desserts! I always joke that I want to start every dinner party with dessert and then have mains. Although, the thought of eating zombie guts… I’m not so sure! Haha! I did find your comment about baking power interesting. I’ve never heard of baking powder being referred to as a spice and I have to agree with you that it isn’t a spice, but rather a baking aid.
