Halloween Lunches

PART 2!! 5 Easy Halloween Lunch Ideas. I have looked all over the internet to find Easy Lunches for Halloween that we deemed worthy of this post LOL. We found a lot of bento lunch ideas which are great but we will only feature one of those here. If you missed Part 1 (5 Easy Halloween Breakfasts head on over to read it now, you don’t want to miss it!)

Check out part 2 of my Halloween collection. 5 Easy Halloween Lunch Ideas!

Not your typical sandwich but simple.

This first idea for my easy Halloween lunch ideas comes from Better Homes and Garden, I have always loved them, even before the internet was invented…. or before I had internet at least. It’s simple yet cute and you don’t need anything special really. Open-face bologna-and-cheese sandwiches. All you do is use cookie cutters to cut out shapes in the cheese and a basil leaf for the stem of the (pumpkin) Kids can get creative with this one as well, pretty cute don’t ya think? Is this one easy enough for 5 Easy Halloween Lunch Ideas or what?!

Can it get any simpler than that? Well, the next one may out do it on the simpler scale LOL, Pumpkin quesadillas!

Quesadillas? But cuter….

We love quesadillas in our house; my kids would probably eat them every day if they could. For this all you do is use these cookie cutters to cut out a face on the top tortilla, then assemble tortilla, cheese, top cut out tortilla and bake in your oven, your convection, or even in the microwave.

Super easy Mummy Hotdogs

These next ones are super cute, at least I think so. They’re Mummy hot dogs! All you need for this recipe is hot dogs, crescent rolls, and mustard or ketchup. You take your crescent rolls out and unfold. Then cut strips and lay them Criss-cross over the hot dogs.

Then Bake however long it says on the crescent rolls. Finish off with mustard or ketchup for the eyes.

This next one is of my favorites! It only has 4 ingredients and can be a lunch or a snack! Individual Mummy pizzas! Because who doesn’t like pizza? I know there are people who don’t like pizza but they are the sane people. All us weirdo’s love it 😉

Equipment

  • cookie sheet for baking

Ingredients

  • 1 can biscuits
  • 1 14oz jar pizza sauce
  • 16 sliced black olives (or pepperoni)
  • 8 mozzarella sticks

Instructions

  • First, you’re going to preheat your
    oven to 350 degrees
  • Then you are going to take out
all of the biscuits and flatten them with your hands so they’re not so fluffy
    anymore.
  • Next, you’re going to put your
sauce on (however much you want but I put around 1 big tbsp)
  • Place an olive cut in half at
the top of the biscuit (this is for the eyes) or use small pepperoni
  • For the cheese, you can do these
one of two ways: you can cut the sticks into small strips or get the pull apart
ones either works fine. You’re going to use 1 mozzarella stick per mummy. Place the cheese onto the biscuits in a criss cross wave pattern
  • Bake for about 12-14mins, or
until golden brown and cheese bubbles

Notes

Buy the small pepperoni for better results, if you can’t find the small ones you can cut the bigger ones

These ideas are adorable. I can imagine the kids getting into designing the mummy pizzas when they get old enough. And we don’t eat much pizza in these gluten-free days but here’s a motivator to make a GF crust, for sure.

    1. Felicia,
I like your hot dog, crescent rolls recipies. One of my good friends made once when I visited her, my kids loved it. They she made was different. I will make your and see what are the differences. Thanks for sharing.

  2. OK my favourite without a doubt is the mummy hot dogs. My kids love hot dogs and I know that those will go down a hit with them… and yes I am also a HUGE fan of quick and easy so that will be a winner in my eyes.

  3. Mummy pizzas eh? Yes, who doesn’t like pizzas? I found the mummy hot dogs very cute though! Like little babies all wrapped up. This is a sweet list of Halloween lunch ideas to go with the breakfast list! Keep them coming! I am working on an easy Halloween crafts post for kids. 🙂
