  1. We never go to the grocery store hungry – even if that means stopping for fast food, or at the local diner! Even spending that extra money on a meal, we end up still saving money on our grocery bill. We need to meal plan more consistently. We only do it for a meal or two a week. The instapot has been worth the investment because when we do a meal plans, we use it all the time for quick meals!

  3. I’m an avid list maker I have a super list of the basic lists too priority-vise… I keep it in my mind to take all of them to shop it prevents unnecessary shopping expenditure in shops. these are good money-saving tips.

  4. Frugal living is a great way to live, but unfortunately the name has been hijacked, so people don’t understand fully what it means, we are careful with all resources, only buy the food we will eat so no wastage, but also very careful over our water usage (living in a country where there are wildfires, this is really important) this is a great post and helpful to so many people, thanks for explaining a way of life in an easy to understand manner

  7. I’d like to check out silicone zip lock bags. I keep seeing them on Amazon and my Insta feed. Yes, eating at home is our mantra too – apart from saving on money, this makes you eat healthy and delicious food too. Oh yes, shopping on an empty stomach is a big NO, because you are more likely to buy unhealthy and wanted food items. Great tips, Felicia. Enjoyed reading this post!
