Instant Pot Beans recipe

Cooking beans in the Instant Pot is so easy! No soaking needed! No hovering over the stove to make sure they're not boiling over either.

Equipment

  • instant pot pressure cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 lb dry kidney or pinto beans
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Soak beans for at least an hour then drain
  • Put everything into Instant pot and push Manuel (or pressure cook) and set to 45 minutes
  • Quick release to let all pressure out

Notes

You can try different beans like navy beans or black beans but I have only tested pinto and kidney beans so far. If you have please let me know in the comments section!
